Sneek Peak....

We had maternity photos taken on Sunday with the amazing Kara Hicks. She took lots of fun pictures and here's just a few. I'll post some later when I get them all! She's just such a talented photographer and very fun to be around. She is easy going, happy and comforting. I'm so lucky Sadie led me to her. Jason and I had a blast!! Hence the balloon in his belly, he's just trying to have a bigger belly than me!

Cinco De Mayo

When you are pregnant you cannot have margaritas. Therefore our last Cinco De Mayo as a married couple with no kids entailed Jason and I making a HUGE batch of nachos. This comes shortly after I was telling him that we need to watch our diet and eat healthy. He informed me that we could "cheat" every once in a while. 1 1/2 bags of tortilla chips and a bag of shredded Mexican cheese later we sat with my younger brother Raf and ate nachos. Of course, we had some fat free re fried beans on the side! Yum-o! So while they enjoyed their Tecate beer that Jason delivered to Raf upon his immediate arrival, I had some OJ on the rocks. Lyla danced the tango in my belly and I thoroughly enjoyed my nachos. Oh the memories.... I was in bed by 8pm.
